- Plans are in the offing
for an “Ayurvedic Herbal Research Institute”,
a “Chronic Disease Nature Care Institute”,
a “High Tech Eye Hospital” and an “Old
Age Home” (Home for the senior citizens).
- We are registered under the Societies Act 21,1860,
vide Registration No.1061 Dated 18-11-1999, and are
exempt under Section 80[G] Of Income Tax Act (i.e.50%
Tax exemption for the Donors)
- We also have a permanent Foreign
Contribution Registration Act. Number. {F.C.R.A.No.]
- Swami Rama Foundation Trust
[Regd] aims at serving people in the rural &
interior areas. The ‘Mission’ of the Trust
intends to expand into not just looking after those
incapable of doing so themselves but to provide an active,
solid and dependable support to the economically backward
areas of medicine, education, areas geriatric and rural
based technology The Mission also intends, conducting
research in herbs and using the natural richness and
treasure of nature in providing relief and comfort for
the total well being of individuals.
- For the LATEST STATE OF
THE ART ‘EYE
HOSPITAL’ we have already acquired 15 acres
[i.e.72, 600 Square Yards] of land and plan an inpatient
facility of 100 beds, an OPD, casualty and ‘outpatient’
facility. Rural clinics will be built as a long-term
objective. This hospital would meet the long felt need
for such a super specialty hospital in the northern
region of India.
- In addition we will have a ‘HERBAL
RESEARCH CUM CARE INSTITUTE’. Surrounded
by creeks and established amidst greens just at the
foot hills of ‘Nahan’ & set in a natural
environment of mountainous beauty, the
Swami Rama Foundation Trust, Nature Care Hospital, offers
a wide range of services for the benefit of patients
under the supervision of our Founder President Dr.V.Anand
Swami. Dr Anand Swami studied Ayurvedic Medicine
at his Gurudeva’s behest. He took his Ayurveda
Acharya degree from Banares Hindu University, Vidya
Visharad from Kanpur University, and Ayurveda Ratna,
Allahabad University. He was sent to hundreds of saints
and sages to learn the disciplines in various aspects
of the spiritual traditions of the sages including the
medical lore. He has extensive knowledge of the different
types of plants and herbs, which are found at high altitudes
of 10 to 15000 feet in the Himalayas. Having a scientific
bent of mind, Dr Anand Swami has extensive knowledge
of the Himalayan herbs and has experimented scientifically
for finding relief, cures and prevention for many diseases.
He has spent over 17 years in healing and experimenting,
using both his own knowledge and the medical lore learnt
at the feet of the Masters.
- This Institute would offer the best from the ancient
wisdom of the sages of India. This combines biofeedback,
hatha yoga, aerobic exercise nutrition, breathing and
relaxation skills and meditation and self-awareness
techniques to provide a unique, innovative and comprehensive
approach to the treatment of chronic, difficult to treat
diseases.
- With special emphasis on hard to cure diseases
like Lumps, Kidneys, All kind of Liver diseases, Arthirites,
Paralyses, Osteoporosis, Asthma, Migraine, Hemoglobin,
Anaemia, Skin Disease, Aligner, Blood Cloistral, Artery
blockage, Obesity, Blood Sugar, Hernia, Thalsmia and
Hypertension. We are working to achieve positive results
for H.I.V cure.
- STRESS MANAGEMENT, AYURVEDIC HERBS RESEARCH, GROWING
AND APPLICATION, HOMOEOPATHY and REHABILITATION are
a few combined therapies that will be used here. It
would offer a new ray of hope to the patients suffering
from chronic ailments as the treatment would be provided
free of cost.
- This will be totally free of chemicals, will be organic
and nature based with latest laboratory facilities for
research and will be spread over
65 acres of plantation of various herbal plants.
We will have a combined therapy Institute with yoga;
meditation and nature care with herbs, oils and massage,
with a separate kitchen for supporting Special herbal
diets. We will also offer residential apartments.
- For the ‘HOME FOR THE
SENIOR CITIZENS’ we plan to build it on
10 acres [I.E.48, 400 Square Yards] of land offering
yoga, medical aid, a serene & spiritual climate,
recreational facility, gardens, walkways, and with a
common kitchen. This home, would be looking after those
who are seeking love, care, comfort & warmth.
- We have already acquired about 45% of the total land
required for the entire Project and efforts are being
made to procure the balance 55% land
- The foundation also proposes to make an institute
for the re-habilitation / care
/ treatment of mentally challenged. This treatment
process would be a combination of herbal treatment,
naturopathy, yoga, homeopathy and other Indian Systems
of medicines.
- The Foundation and Swami ji has a deep desire to
correct the misguided youth, who are turning towards
terrorism. This we propose to do through yoga
and philosophy. Swamiji strongly feels that a terrorist
mind can be converted into a peace-loving mind through
changes in the thought process. Globally,
peace and love instead of hatred can be achieved; we
are prepared to take up this task, which is hard but
not impossible.
- Today worldwide, trends exist with new and coming
generations that are alarming & thought provoking.
It is the bane of so called urban and modern society.
Drug dependent habits, addiction, unemployment, stress,
erosion of family values, environment disasters are
all contributing towards a hostile environment. We urgently
need to offer proper help and guidance to correct and
balance these trends. The foundation sees itself at
the center of all this. Therefore plans and proposes
to make an institute for de-addiction and for helping
to aid such wanting individuals. To fulfill completely
their physical, emotional & spiritual potential,
thereby ensuring a good and healthy life for themselves
& society.
