| Our Facilities |
-
Since December 2004 the
Foundation has already started a
residential school for parentless children
named as “THE
MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL”. This is
spread over 25 acres of land, with an English
medium boarding school, consisting of facilities
like yoga / meditation / play grounds / Computer
Lab / library / separate living hostel for
girls and boys. We have already 54
registered
parentless children and employ about 18
staff members including teachers to cater
to the current requirements. Besides we have
varied volunteer professionals staying with
us to supervise the teaching classes and curriculum
following the Indian
“Central Board Of Secondary Education”
pattern of education.
- The children until completion of the main school
& buildings, are being housed in a make shift
building but without compromising on any of the
facilities / comforts / inputs in care mentioned
above.
-
A regular kitchen
with a dining hall is functional and
is sufficient to
feed about 75 persons, round
the clock at any given time. The children when
they came were poorly nourished. They had varied
ailments, there was no record of their inoculation,
but are being treated with naturopathy treatment
and the children are responding very well to
the natural herbs being used by Swamiji.
-
Our
own “Goushala” (Dairy) with
eleven cows is already in place;
making us self sufficient as far as the dairy
requirement is concerned. All the children including
the staff and the guests are provided
with milk / lassi / clarified butter made out
of our own milk supply.
-
Two
Bio Gas Plants with capacity of 30 to 35 tons
each are also functional thus enabling
us to economize on cooking gas / fuel but also
blending our objectives with the philosophy
of “eco- friendly”
environment & nature.
-
In addition a Bore
well is already in place, giving
us 24 hours of non-stop water supply.
